Rory Atton first became interested in the music scene in 99 / 00 when tunes like Dj Jean - The Launch were thriving the scene, from this he became interested in dance music and in Easter 2001 he attended a Dj course run by NGM in Bristol, after several lessons through this youth organisation his learnt his skill. In december 2001 Rory bought his decks and through the next 6 months worked endlessly on perfecting his skill. In June 2001 Rory Atton and Stu Bennett set up their first U18 Night, a great sucsess having made profit on the first night, both djs, dancers and clubbers gave great feed back and inspired Rory to continue this life long venture. Rory plays a selective mix of soulfull latin Drum & Bass with a crisp house influence. Seeking influence from the likes of Dj marky and patife. Also geting into the sounds of the Disco DnB, influences from Greg Packer, Blue Sonix, Peshay and John B. On the house side of things Rory mixes a soulfull yet funky set leading the crowd and builds a highly interactive vibe throughout. It can often be seen through his music the similarities between styles often blending various attributes together. As an up and coming Dj at 18 there is a long way to go, but its a uphill climb and Rory will not be coming down without planting the flag.

About Stu:

Stu Bennett became interested in dance music in 1999 when records such as ATB's 9pm Til I Come caught his attention, Stu began enjoying more dance music such as Kernkrafts Zombie Nation and Yomandas Synth & Strings. A few years along the line and Stu learnt to DJ at his local youth centre by a group of DJ's and Musicians called NGM. After a few lessons he and his 'Fellow DJ' Rory Atton made a very cheap yet memorable set up in their shed. The set up consisting of 2 hi-fi turntables a cheap sound mixer and surrounded by about 8 speakers. This was what they were determined to be able to mix on. After realising that you cannot mix on hi-fi turntables, Stu purchased his decks in september 2001 after working all summer long to afford them. After the purchase of the turntables Stu improved at a rate which was astonishing to him and his peers alike. 9 months down the line and Stu along with Rory were given the opportunity to run their own night at a local night club (The Station, Bristol), and a chance to show to their peers that they were good. After the nerves settled Stu went on to play an absolute stormer of a set working the crowd from seated to jumping on the dancefloor, hands in the air and screaming out through the breakdowns, the response every DJ dreams of, all this at the age of 17. Following this success Stu had got the confidence to ask around for slots and was lucky to find a slot at the Pre-Slinky Bar, Bar Ibiza. This experience gave Stu the chance to learn the Valuable lesson of, how to adjust to the set up. 3 Months on and Stu can quickly adapt to any set-up adjusting his mixing style to suit. Stu's style is a mixture of floaty vocally trance right through to the warping bass laden sound of hard trance.
